Position Overview
As a Bike Valet Ambassador, you will be responsible for the setup and takedown of bicycle parking facilities, warmly greeting cyclists, securely parking bicycles, and offering information about the Bicycle Valet service. Your outgoing and friendly personality will create a positive atmosphere, making a meaningful impact on the cycling community. If you enjoy hands-on tasks, social interactions, and promoting sustainable transportation, this role is a perfect fit

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

Preference will be given to post-secondary students who live in Kamloops, or whose family maintains a residence in Kamloops.
Please note that more than one may be hired. This is a temporary position until approximately September 02, 2024. Please refer to the Student Hire LOU attached.

For new hires, and for those working in designated positions of trust, including those working directly with vulnerable persons, no formal offer of employment will be made until an applicant completes a police information check. This position will receive 14% in lieu of all benefits, vacation, stat holidays, and health time. This is a CUPE local 900 position.
