What is the opportunity?

We are looking for a skilled communications and event planning pro who thrives in a dynamic environment. Your day-to-day work would include writing, designing, developing, producing and consulting on a variety of internal and external communications, marketing and media materials. It's an opportunity to work with a high-performing and dynamic team.


What will you do?

  • Lead a variety of marketing, events and communications activities
  • Support the tactical execution and administration of sponsorships/partnerships with external partners
  • Act as editor of local Intranet and of bi-weekly newsletter
  • Write and design content for intranet, announcements, speaking notes, invites, videos, infographics, newsletters etc.
  • Provide event planning and execution for key initiatives such as sponsorship related events, client hosting events and ticket management
  • Work with key internal and external stakeholders to brainstorm and execute content ideas, in line with the communications and marketing strategies
  • Coach internal stakeholders on communications and marketing best practices and activities
  • Support in backup capacity on media relations and issues management

What do you need to succeed?

  • A degree in Communications, Marketing or Event Planning is required (or equivalent).
  • 3+ years Communications, Marketing and Event Planning experience is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines, while embracing a self-starting 'can-do' approach.
  • Ability to do some occasional evening or weekend work.
