The Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) is a trusted partner to municipalities, First Nations communities, businesses, governments, and institutions across Ontario. We provide total solutions in water and wastewater, helping our clients build healthy, sustainable communities and organizations.
**About the Role:**
As a Compliance Professional with OCWA, you will implement programs to support environmental compliance, process control, and health and safety requirements for water and wastewater treatment processes in the Northeastern Region. You will work closely with clients to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and provide technical advice to internal and external contacts.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Implement environmental compliance programs, process control, and health and safety requirements for water and wastewater treatment processes
* Conduct internal audits, respond to findings, and make recommendations to assigned facilities
* Provide technical compliance advice to internal and external contacts
* Facilitate in-house training to operations staff
* Prepare written technical letters, reports, and procedures
**Requirements:**
* Class 3 certification in Water Treatment, Class 3 in Wastewater Treatment
* Post-secondary education in an environmental discipline or field knowledge
* Valid Class G driver's license
* Bilingual in English and French language
* Ability to work in a team environment and independently
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
