Advantage Personnel is currently recruiting on behalf of our customer in Moncton, NB. Our customer is dedicated to assisting and providing Canadian Farmers with nutritional services. They are looking for a reliable, hardworking individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment

Available Shifts: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Rate of Pay: $43.00 to $53.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Read and prepare blueprints, schematic drawings, and diagrams
  • Inspect, examine, and troubleshoot equipment and machinery
  • Collaborate with team and management to ensure equipment and machinery are in working order
  • Perform preventative maintenance and log findings accurately
  • Repair defective parts using various hand tools and welding equipment
  • Operate machinery such as cranes, jacks, and tractors to position parts for installation
  • Disassembling machinery when necessary
  • Align equipment using specialized tools (micrometers etc.)
  • Perform diagnostic tests to ensure machinery safety
  • Cleaning and lubricating machinery
  • Recommend equipment to management
  • Review and follow manuals
  • Operate various machine tools to fabricate parts as necessary

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Exceptional knowledge in reading and interpreting blueprints
  • Ability to work independently, and in a team environment
  • Previous experience operating heavy-duty machinery
  • Previous experience in assembling and disassembling equipment and machinery
  • Red Seal Certification required
  • This role requires the submission of a criminal record search
  • Applicable schooling an asset
