Job Title: Cell Leader

As a Cell Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the production line, providing guidance and direction to employees, and ensuring the team is aware of production timelines and progress.

Responsibilities:
  • Set and follow Leader Standard Work daily
  • Complete Start-Up Checks
  • Assess manpower and break coverage continually with Team Lead and other Cell Leaders
  • Conduct daily huddles with team to inform on progress and demands
  • Regularly update cell board and dashboards and review operator efficiencies
  • Utilize KPI metrics to compare actuals and to foster continuous improvement
  • Support operators with material needs, upcoming jobs, and continuous coaching
  • Administer and support cross-training initiatives
  • Adhere to Cam Tran safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
  • Experience leading a team in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of the product and plant operations
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in lean manufacturing systems, Production Control, and Quality System
Skills:
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others
  • Well-organized and able to make independent judgments
  • Able to work in a team environment
Measures of Performance:
  • Line output – OTIF
  • Safety – Observations, Near Misses
  • Quality – FTQ – percentage of units built correctly the first time
  • Efficiency
