What is the opportunity?
As a Senior Group Sales Consultant, you will provide Group Benefits Insurance planning and advice. You will focus on new sales acquisition and retention as well as serving as the one-point of contact for Group Producers in Edmonton and northern Alberta. A key activity is identifying, growing, building as well as strengthening relationships with new and existing group producers.
What will you do?
- Identify, build and strengthen relationships with Group Producers
- Apply a continuous-improvement approach to achieving superior brokerage experience
- Demonstrate commitment to take ownership of client/brokerage problems at first point of contact for assigned employee benefits advisors
- Deliver a consistently superior client experience through the brokerage by focusing on insurance advice and promoting submission of high quality insurance applications
- Represent RBCI within assigned territory to increase market awareness of RBCI Group Brokerage capability
- Build profitable Group Brokerage relationships, achieving business growth goals, revenue plans and cost controls
- Develop market intelligence to identify potential new Group Producers appointment opportunities within assigned territory
- Deliver presentations to Group Producers on sales concepts, market and product updates
Here's what we need from you:
Must-have
- University degree or equivalent preferred
- Proven professional sales experience
- +5 years of Group Insurance experience
- Technical knowledge of Group Benefits product lines
Nice to Have
- Life/Accident &Sickness Designation
- CEBS GBA 1 and 2 preferred
