We are seeking a skilled Unit Assistant to join our healthcare team at Pan Am Clinic. As a key member of our clinical support team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities- Assist with patient care and provide basic supportive care as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.
- Provide general administrative support to the healthcare team, as needed.
- Minimum Grade 10 education, Manitoba standards, required.
- Successful completion of a recognized Health Care Aide course required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Previous patient care experience.
- Knowledge of the Personal Health Information Act (PHIA) and Principles of Routine Practices (Universal Precautions).
