Nurse Educator - Western Regional School of Nursing
Corner Brook, NL

Required Qualifications: Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador, a Bachelor of Nursing Degree, and a Master's Degree in Nursing, or Master of Nursing Science or Master of Science (Applied Nursing) are required. A minimum of three years of clinical experience in medical/surgical nursing and two years of experience teaching in a basic nursing education program, or higher level education program, are also required. Preference will be given to those with a strong background in research. A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is a requirement for this position.

If no suitable applicant is found that meets the requirement for a minimum of three years of clinical experience and two years in a basic nursing education program, or higher level education program, then consideration will be given to suitable applicants with a combination of teaching and clinical experiences.

Please Note: The incumbent's assignment may be adjusted per semester based on qualifications, work experience and program needs.

Employees applying for this position must be able to perform the physical requirements of a Registered Nurse I position because the purpose of these positions is to provide instruction, direction and guidance to nursing students and to demonstrate proper procedures and techniques in the provision of basic patient care.

Hours of Work: 75 Hours per pay period
, , Hours, Monday to Friday.
Some evenings, weekends, and 12 hour shifts may be required.
Salary Scale: $88,576.53 to $109,826.48 per Annum
