Infection Control Co-Ordinator - Regional Infection Prevention and Control Specialist
Corner Brook, NL

The Regional IPAC Specialist, as part of the Western Zone Patient Services department is accountable for developing, coordinating, and monitoring organization wide infection rates, structures, and processes for continuous quality improvement related to IPAC, clinical safety, and developing collaborative relationships with internal and external links that strengthen IPAC in the region and provincially.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: A Bachelor of Nursing Degree and current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador. Five (5) years recent experience as a Registered Nurse in a clinical nursing setting supplemented by two (2) years recent experience managing and leading projects of a complex nature and scope. Certification in Infection Control and completion of an IPAC Canada endorsed education program.

A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is also required.

Hours of Work: 75 Hours per pay period
0800-1600 Hours; Monday to Friday
Salary Scale: $92,167.48 to $114,306.78 per Annum
