Key Responsibilities:- Pick and assemble orders from various temperature areas with attention to detail and quality in mind.
- Pack orders efficiently, ensuring accurate product selection, quantity, and labeling.
- Document and label orders correctly, interpreting and understanding documentation, including pick slips, packaging details, and shipping labels.
- Optimize tote fill by packing orders in a space-efficient manner while maintaining product quality standards.
- Balance fulfillment responsibilities with customer interaction, offering exceptional service and resolving issues promptly.
- Adhere to strict safety and food hygiene standards, maintaining a clean and hygienic work area, and operating material handling equipment safely.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting changes to operational procedures, productivity standards, and efficiencies.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and quality.
- Basic math skills and ability to accurately count and measure products.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
