Job SummaryTasks include preparing, presenting, and serving meals to uphold food quality and presentation standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Execute preparatory tasks like washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
- Transport food items between workstations, stove, and refrigerator while adhering to safety protocols.
- Follow proper procedures for storing food in designated areas, including wrapping, dating, and rotation as per food safety guidelines.
- Arrange items for daily purchase.
- Carry out routine cleaning duties, such as disposing of garbage and trash in assigned areas.
- Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
- Adhere to approved food recipes and production standards to ensure quality, serving temperatures, and portion control, promptly notifying cooks of any deviations.
- Provide friendly and efficient service to customers following defined procedures.
- Address customer concerns and communicate relevant information to superiors.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards at all times.
- Deliver service in all retail areas, including cashier responsibilities and line serving.
Qualifications:

- Experience with cash register operations is advantageous.
- Strong time management and organizational skills to handle a demanding workload effectively.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment as needed.
- Proficiency in both verbal and written French, with the capability to understand and follow instructions.
- Prior experience in food service within healthcare, hospitality, restaurants, or fast-food settings is beneficial.
- Physical capability to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
