Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Psychologist to join our team. As a Registered Psychologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals experiencing complex mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and diagnose clients using evidence-based trauma therapy, including EMDR and ART
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve positive client outcomes
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to clients
  • Provide psychoeducation groups and facilitate family support
  • Complete trauma timelines and discharge summaries
Requirements
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Counselling Psychology or similar program
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in mental health assessment/triage and treatment
  • Experience using evidence-based trauma therapy, specifically EMDR or ART
  • Eligibility or registration with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychologists
