We are seeking a highly skilled Research Officer to join our team at the National Research Council Canada. As a Research Officer, you will be responsible for conducting advanced research in analytical chemistry, developing and implementing new methodologies, and collaborating with internal and external partners.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement analytical methods for the separation and characterization of complex mixtures
- Develop and validate advanced mass spectrometry methodologies
- Collaborate with researchers and technical experts to optimize analytical methods and troubleshoot technical issues
- Write high-quality research articles and communicate findings to partners and clients
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- PhD in Analytical Chemistry or a related discipline
- Significant research experience in analytical chemistry, including development and implementation of analytical methodologies
- Experience with mass spectrometry instrumentation and data processing
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
