Merchandiser, Route Driver

Job Summary: As a Merchandiser, Route Driver, you will be responsible for maintaining proper inventory levels and product distribution for micro markets, ensuring client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional client and customer service in every aspect of job performance.
  • Display a clear understanding of company policies and administer as needed.
  • Perform routine cleaning, sanitation, and minor service of machines and other related equipment.
  • Ensure that truck is properly loaded with all product required to properly service all scheduled micro markets and machines.
  • Inform clients and customers of new products or services, listen to and resolve service complaints.
  • Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issue sales promotion materials to customers.
  • Accountable for all receipt of goods, invoices, delivery tickets, cash received or collected and product.
  • Perform product rotation to ensure freshness of products.
  • Keep company vehicle clean and organized at all times.
  • Perform all job functions in a safe and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and good driving record.
  • Drivers experience an asset.
  • Customer service experience an asset.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis.
  • Ability to operate or willingness to learn material handling equipment.
  • Able to work independently, responsible for route, work unsupervised 98% of the work day.
