The Role

  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Determine extent of repair required
  • Respond to service calls and resolve emergency breakdown situations
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation
  • Perform crane inspections, repairs, and installations

Responsibilities

  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals
  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Use mechanical aptitude to diagnose and repair equipment
  • Work in elevated areas and lift up to 50lbs
  • Available to work overtime and on call as required

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience as an overhead crane technician
  • Certified millwright or electrician
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent people and communication skills
  • Lifting up to 50lbs
  • Knowledge and understanding of structural, electrical, and mechanical systems
