Summary
The Bell Mobility network radio team is looking for a dynamic and energetic candidate, who has a strong background in public safety radio solutions, is experienced working and building relationships with vendors and internal team members and is able to coordinate and assemble multiple costing package requests for a variety of customers across the business. The individual must also have a strong attention to detail, be responsible for creating and delivering clear costing packages and be able to accurately report on multiple costing requests in order to meet customer obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and review requirements for all customer costing requests and develop an actionable plan for next steps
- Lead and host kickoff meetings for all costing requests, ensuring the right resources are in attendance to support the solution, understand the requirements, and establish timelines for delivery of the costing package
- Build and develop strong key vendor relationships to ensure that requests for quotations are received in a timely fashion
- Develop strong relationships with other Bell teams that are responsible to provide quotations for work outside of the radio team and ensure that deadlines are met
- Create and deliver concise and accurate costing packages for the Sales team to ensure clarity and promote order accuracy
- Track and report on all costing requests, identifying the appropriate status, timelines and escalating items when required
- Meet with the Sales team on a weekly basis to ensure that all costing requests are reported on, providing them with concise updates and prioritize accordingly
- Develop new costing packages and templates that can be used nationally and drive efficiencies as it relates to the costing process
Critical Qualifications
- Experience in understanding and quoting complex solutions, particularly in public safety radio
- Proven vendor relationship building and management skills
- Ability to identify issues and possess strong problem solving abilities
- Self-starter with demonstrated initiative, enthusiasm, and energy
- Highly organized, results driven, and detail oriented
- Solid analytical and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of P25 public safety radio networks is considered an asset
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- A university degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering or a related field is preferred
