About the Role:
As a Relationship Manager Commercial Banking at RBC, you will play a key role in building and maintaining strong relationships with commercial business clients. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, providing value-added financial advice, and identifying opportunities to grow revenue and deepen client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Value-Added Financial Advice: Provide tailored financial solutions to commercial business clients, leveraging your knowledge of their business needs and goals.
- Leverage Sales Enabling Tools: Utilize sales planning, prospecting, and pre-call planning tools to drive sales growth and client engagement.
- Apply a Continuous Improvement Approach: Continuously assess and improve the client experience, identifying opportunities to enhance service delivery and drive business growth.
- Develop a Needs-Based Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a sales strategy that meets the unique needs of each client, driving revenue growth and deepening client relationships.
Requirements:
- Commercial Lending Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in commercial lending, with a strong background in relationship management.
- Education: Post-secondary diploma/degree in commerce or business administration, or related experience.
- Business Development Experience: Demonstrated success in business development, with a focus on acquiring new clients, prospecting, and cold calling.
- Financial Analysis Skills: Experience with financial statement reviews, computer modeling, and analysis.
- Emerging Communications and Technology: Experience with emerging communications and technology, including web-based meetings, social media, digital banking, and mobile applications.
