Job Title: Finance Assistant/Admin Clerk

Job Summary:

  • Assist the Finance Manager in managing the financials of the company, mainly comprised of accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.
  • Perform basic bookkeeping functions and clerical tasks.
  • Manage accounts receivables and accounts payables by posting payments in QuickBooks and updating internal reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements and balance ledgers.
  • Settle accounts by reconciling entries.
  • Maintain project spreadsheets on an ongoing basis.
  • Assist in the completion and review of expense reports and invoices.
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support duties, including filing, mailing, and scanning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform bookkeeping functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.

Requirements:

  • Proven communication skills – written, verbal, and interpersonal.
  • Proficient in Excel to prepare documents, correspondence, and spreadsheets.
  • Experience using QuickBooks software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent administrative, time-management, and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and action multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with staff and clients in a variety of situations.

Education:

  • Degree or Diploma/Certificate in Office Administration or Equivalent.

Work Experience:

  • 3 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant.
  • 3 years of experience in bookkeeping.
