Résumé du poste:
Préserver l'intégrité de la marque déposée CSA en effectuant des inspections en usine et en assurant la conformité continue des produits portant l'étiquette CSA.
Responsabilités:
- Effectuer des inspections dans les usines autorisées par la CSA. Choisir les échantillons représentatifs de produits à vérifier; déterminer si l'échantillon est conforme à toutes les normes applicables et au rapport de certification; examiner la documentation relative au contrôle de la qualité et aux essais.
- Rédiger les rapports d'inspection d'usine, les rapports d'évaluation initiale de l'usine et les rapports d'évaluation des produits du client afin de consigner les résultats de l'inspection conformément aux procédures et aux instructions de travail. Examiner les précédents rapports d'inspection d'usine pour déterminer si les écarts antérieurs ont été corrigés. Avec l'aide d'un superviseur, déterminer les mesures correctives satisfaisantes et le calendrier de mise en œuvre des changements, déterminer si la non-conformité nécessite l'arrêt des expéditions, de nouvelles enquêtes ou le retrait de l'étiquette CSA et prendre les mesures appropriées.
- Garder le contact avec les clients en assurant le suivi, en fournissant les renseignements et en répondant aux demandes de renseignements. Se tenir au courant des nouveaux services disponibles, les communiquer aux clients au besoin et aider ces derniers à apporter des changements à leurs dossiers (adresse, nom de l'entreprise, etc.) auprès de la CSA.
Formation et expérience:
- Diplôme de premier cycle en génie sans expérience ou dans un domaine connexe des sciences avec 1 à 2 ans d'expérience dans le secteur; ou un diplôme en technologie du génie ou diplôme d'associé avec 2 à 3 ans d'expérience; ou licence de compagnon dans le domaine ou dans un domaine technique connexe avec 5 à 7 ans d'expérience.
- Solides compétences interpersonnelles; esprit d'initiative; bonnes aptitudes en matière de prise de décisions et d'organisation.
- Solides compétences en matière de résolution des conflits qui permettront de gérer des situations difficiles.
- Avec une assistance, être capable de lire et interpréter les dessins techniques ainsi que les données d'essai au besoin afin de s'acquitter des tâches qui lui sont assignées.
- Compétences en informatique (traitement de texte, gestion des courriels).
- Capacité à utiliser des instruments de mesure calibrés, des équipements d'essai à haute tension et des outils à main.
- Capacité à gérer plusieurs dossiers d'inspection, des échéances et des calendriers changeants tout en étant supervisé.
- Connaissance pratique des instruments de laboratoire, ainsi que des procédures générales de laboratoire dans le cadre des inspections d'usine.

Field Evaluations RepresentativeJob Summary:
To maintain the integrity of the CSA registered Mark by conducting factory inspections and safeguarding on-going conformity of products bearing the CSA Mark.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts factory inspections at CSA authorized factories. Selects representative product samples to audit; determines if sample complies with all applicable standards and Certification report; reviews quality control and testing documentation.
- Prepares Factory Inspection Reports (FIR), Initial Factory Evaluation (IFE) reports, and consumer product evaluation reports to document inspection findings per procedures and work instructions. Reviews previous FIR's to determine if previous deviations have been corrected. With supervision, determines satisfactory corrective action and time frame to implement the changes; determines if non-compliance merits stop shipments, re-investigation or removal of CSA mark and takes appropriate action.
- Maintains contact with clients by following up, providing information, and responding to inquiries. Keeps current on new services available and communicates these to clients as necessary and assists clients with making changes to their records (address, company name, etc) with CSA.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 0 years of experience; or related Sciences with 1-2 years of industry related experience; or Engineering Technology or Associates Degree, with 2-3 years experience; or Licensed Journeyman Discipline; or related technical field with 5-7 years experience
- Strong interpersonal skills; self-starter; good decision-making skills and organizational skills
- Strong conflict resolution skills to be able to handle difficult situations
- With assistance, able to read and interpret engineering drawings and test data as required to complete assigned duties
- Computer skills (word processing, e-mail)
- Usage of calibrated measurement instruments, high voltage test equipment, hand tools
- Ability to manage multiple inspection files and changing schedules and deadlines with supervision
- Working knowledge of laboratory instrumentation, as well as general laboratory procedures as they relate to performing factory inspections
