Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guards in Cobourg, ON.
Title: Patient Watch Guard
Location: Cobourg, ON
Payrate: $16.55/hour-$ 21.00/hour
Schedule: Continental Rotation, 19:00-07:00
MUST BE FLEXIBLE TO WORK EITHER DAYS OR NIGHTS
Overview:
Allied Universal is seeking experienced Security Guards for our security operations in Cobourg, ON . The ideal candidate is a seasoned guard with excellent communication skills, willing to work rotational shifts, and able to work within a dynamic security team. If you have experience as a Security Guard, enjoy patrolling, and can maintain a high level of professionalism, we'd like to hear from you.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in Hospital Patient Watch.
- Must be comfortable going hands-on Must be physically capable
- Open availability for rotational shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
- Ability to operate technology and wireless communication systems at client-specific sites.
- Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
- First Aid and CPR
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
- Physically capable of standing or walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 kilograms.
Responsibilities:
Respond to all incidents, including restraining patients
Professional communication with Nurses
Provide supervision to other guards and Patient Watch guards
Communicate with staff, including site management and security personnel, in a professional manner.
- Address and manage security incidents and emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
- Coordinate with other team members to ensure seamless shift transitions and consistent security coverage.
- Perform regular patrols and site checks to maintain security standards.
