Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and promoting company sponsor programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet all customers in a polite and friendly manner.
  • Process all purchase transactions in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Promote company sponsor programs, such as credit card services and charity initiatives.
  • Assist customers with bagging and loading of merchandise.
  • Ensure safe work practices are followed, including proper lifting and maintaining a clean work area.
  • Maintain register security and integrity through diligent cash handling and adherence to company policies.
  • Refer appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager as required.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail experience an asset.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
