**Project Manager, Commissioning**

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager, Commissioning to lead the commissioning components of a construction project from design to execution.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Plan the commissioning components of a construction project from design to execution and coordinate all commissioning activities with stakeholders.
  • Review and confirm accurate billings for the commissioning components of the job to ensure timely payment of subcontractor billings.
  • Monitor and review a project's static & dynamic testing processes and completion statuses for commissioning components to ensure timely reporting.
  • Review architectural, mechanical, and electrical changes to ensure they are complete, up to project standards, and coordinated into the commissioning program.
  • Provide expert advice and proactively report on the commissioning program delivery and performance to maintain accurate records of site infrastructure and equipment.
  • Follow up on open commissioning deficiencies/Items of Concern and drive them to closure.
  • Establish necessary policies, procedures, action plans, critical indicators, timetables and performance measures to guarantee high quality services and timely deliverables to the client.

**Requirements:**

  • Engineering degree or a Three-Year College Diploma with equivalent combination of technical experience.
  • Eight to ten years of experience in Mechanical and Electrical commissioning.
  • Solid technical background concerning BAS, Air & Water Balancing, ASHRAE, LEED and Systems Integration.
  • Experience in end-to-end management of the commissioning program in construction projects.
  • Experience with and an understanding of life-cycle budgeting, as well as statutory and mandatory compliances and legislation.
  • Hospital/Health Care, ICI construction experience would be considered an asset.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload with limited supervision.
