Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Stock Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a Stock Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers by assisting with sales floor operations and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist customers with cart collection and return, ensuring a safe and efficient process.
  2. Respond promptly to customer requests at all registers and assist with carry outs or carry ins, verifying receipts for proof of purchase.
  3. Follow established guidelines for occasional cleaning and maintenance of the restrooms, handling chemicals and following correct disposal procedures.
  4. Adhere to safety and emergency procedures, ensuring guidelines are being followed properly for hazardous communications, lockout/tagout and blood borne pathogens.
  5. Maintain Cart Retrieval Log at Customer Service Desk.
  6. Contribute to a safe, clean and hazard-free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures.
  7. Promote safety by wearing personal protective equipment, including steel toe footwear and reflective vest during cart collection.
  8. Complete safety sweeps as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
