PTSD Program:
The RCC will provide treatment to adults who have been previously diagnosed with Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). The RCC will have 2 or more years of clinical experience and must be well versed with evidence based treatment for PTSD, such as prolonged exposure, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, and/ or cognitive processing therapy. The RCC will develop and implement individual treatment plans, write reports, and liaise with stakeholders. Occupational Rehabilitation (OR) Program:
The RCC Role within the Occupational Rehab Program (OR) is to offer short-term, one-on-one psychological support and empirically validated treatments such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to clients enrolled in physical therapy. Experience with pain management and working with individuals with physical injuries is necessary. Psychological treatment is given within a rehabilitation context, focusing on a successful and durable return to work. Treatment goals are realistic within the program's scope and duration.
