Job Title: Associate, Tax Credits

Champlain Media is a dynamic international television production and distribution company with offices in Toronto, Kelowna, and Montreal.

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate, Tax Credits to join our team. This position will report to the Manager, Tax Credits, and will help support our teams in British Columbia and Ontario.

Main Responsibilities:
  • End-to-end tax credit process management from budget stage to completion
  • Preparation and submission of tax credit applications for CAVCO, Creative BC, and Ontario Creates
  • Liaising with Business Affairs, Distribution, and Finance teams for documentation collection
  • Tax credit calculations and related schedules preparation
  • Tracking spreadsheets maintenance
  • Supporting Manager with ad-hoc analysis as required
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of CAVCO and other TV/film funding agencies' rules and practices
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • 2-3 years of experience in Business Affairs or Production Financing
  • General knowledge of production and film/tv incentives
  • Ability to work with a team, multitask, and reassess priorities as needed
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Highly reliable with self-management, problem-solving, and excellent judgment
  • Ability to excel in a high-pressure, deadline-oriented environment
  • Professional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
