About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. SR&ED Tax Credit Consultant to join our team of experts in Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) tax credit optimization. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients across Canada to identify and substantiate R&D tax credit claims, specializing in the IT and STEM sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify eligible activities for the SR&ED tax credit and develop claim structures in collaboration with clients and ABGi Canada's project managers.
  • Prepare and submit SR&ED claims to the tax authorities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Document claims using relevant forms and technical reports to support the work.
  • Assist clients in the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) audit process, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Participate in international collaborations with other group subsidiaries, driving innovation and growth.
Requirements
  • Masters degree or higher in engineering, computer science, electronics, or a related field from an accredited university.
  • At least one to five years of experience as an SR&ED consultant in a professional services organization.
  • Knowledge of the SR&ED program and other government incentives.
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English, with the ability to articulate complex technical issues clearly.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
