Job Description

The Electrical Engineer will play a key role in overseeing and coordinating system engineering and design projects from inception to completion. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead and manage a team of electrical design engineers, providing strategic direction and oversight to project teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the assigned electrical design team in various engineering and design projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight to project teams, guiding them through each phase of the project lifecycle.
  • Effectively prioritize tasks and resources to meet project deadlines and objectives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration with stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding.
  • Facilitate regular meetings, provide status updates, and address any concerns or questions that arise.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions proactively.
  • Ensure all project records are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
Requirements:
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with a relevant educational background in electrical engineering or equivalent.
  • Years of relevant work experience in the field of electrical building services.
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with Engineers New Brunswick.
  • Strong understanding of provincial building codes, electrical codes and standards.
  • Ability to work well independently or within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a complex environment with multiple projects and clients.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable problem-solving skills.
