Job Overview

At Englobe, we are seeking a skilled Transportation Engineer/Technologist to join our Civil Engineering team. This role will involve working on various projects, collaborating with our team to deliver high-quality results.

Main Responsibilities
  • Perform general project duties under the supervision of a Senior Technologist or Engineer, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project requirements.
  • Prepare cost estimates, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents, utilizing industry-standard software and tools.
  • Conduct construction administration and general construction supervision duties, ensuring compliance with Englobe's health and safety rules and regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology.
  • Eligibility for membership in EGBC as P.L. Eng. or P.Eng. or ASTTBC as a AScT.
  • Over 5 years of experience in Transportation or Municipal Engineering, with a strong understanding of general construction methods.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and reliable, with a high attention to detail.
  • Civil3D experience is considered an asset.
  • Experience with MMCD contract administration and conducting general construction site reviews is also an asset.
