Job Summary
Magellan Aerospace has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time permanent Senior Calibration Technologist at our manufacturing hub in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Essential Responsibilities

  • calibration and process certification, including writing and maintaining file of calibration and process certification reports
  • calibration of process control and monitoring equipment
  • maintaining the calibration procedures manual pertaining to equipment owned by Magellan Aerospace Limited
  • maintaining the calibration call up data base
  • assisting the Maintenance Department with the repair of process and test equipment
  • identifying and utilizing traceable calibration sources to maintain a nationally recognized traceability path to company equipment

    Position Requirements

    • A post-secondary technical diploma (Electronics, Instrumentation or Calibration preferred)

    • Basic knowledge of calibration procedures and accuracy requirements.

    • Certification in heat treat pyro techniques is an asset.

    • Experience with Microsoft Office.

    • Experience with Gagetrak or similar software is an asset.

    • Ability to Perform Temperature Uniformity Surveys is an asset.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    • CTTAM accreditation optional
