Seeking experienced CNC Operator - Metals to work in our metals department, creating architectural panels for building projects across North America.

Job Description:

  • Read and interpret blueprint/shop drawings for machine setup.
  • Work with various saws, punch press, shears, folders, and other pneumatic equipment.
  • Program and operate various CNC equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Ensure productivity and on-time completion of work orders.
  • Assist team in other production requirements as needed.

Requirements:

  • Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16th" or 1 mm.
  • Ability to confidently read and interpret shop drawings/blueprints.
  • Previous experience with CNC equipment and programming basic equipment considered an asset.
  • Ability to work with various saws, punch press, shears, and other pneumatic equipment considered an asset.
  • Ability to focus on agreed-upon priorities, pay attention to detail, and ensure high levels of quality.
  • Mechanically inclined, with knowledge and experience of equipment, tool selection, optimum settings, and understanding of how things work.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and attend to issues as they arise.
  • Shows interest and willingness to learn new skills, take on new assignments as the workload dictates.
