Sr Water Treatment Operator
We are seeking a skilled Sr Water Treatment Operator to join our team in Sudbury. As a critical member of our operations, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our water and wastewater treatment facilities.
About the Role
- Operate and maintain water treatment plants, including drinking water and industrial wastewater treatment facilities.
- Perform a variety of skilled and technical work, including operating, maintaining, repairing, and recording treatment plant operations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and permits, and liaise with government agencies and agents.
- Act as management's Operator in Charge and maintain required operating licenses.
About You
- Graduate Environmental or Chemical Engineering Technologist or equivalent.
- Valid MECP certification minimum Level I Water Treatment is required.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency with SCADA and HMI control equipment, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to read and understand chemical formulas and dosage calculations, and basic ability to follow electrical/mechanical prints and drawings.
- Thorough knowledge of water treatment systems and typical industry equipment associated with water treatment and supply systems.
