Access Control Security Guard position at London Health Sciences Centre requires a detail-oriented individual to control entry and access, enforce procedures, and handle emergency situations.

Responsibilities
  • Control entry and access to the hospital
  • Ensure compliance with hospital standards, rules, and regulations
  • Use tact and diplomacy in dealings with various individuals and situations
  • Maintain and enforce access control procedures
  • Understand emergency and standard operating procedures
  • Deal with trespassers and unauthorized persons in a fair and safe manner
  • De-escalate emergency/crisis situations
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health Act
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated punctuality, reliability, tact, and diplomacy
  • Standard First Aid, CPR Level C
  • Valid Ontario Security Licence
