About the Role

Bioriginal Food and Science is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist in developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs to minimize equipment failures.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Work with external vendors and contractors to ensure equipment maintenance needs are met.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Journeyperson Electrician certification is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with HAACP and Good Manufacturing Practices is an asset.
