Lead innovative projects to develop next-generation sortation and transportation systems, collaborating with internal and external teams to design and deliver world-class logistics solutions.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Operations Engineer to lead Material Flow Optimization (MFO) Process initiatives, driving the development and delivery of cutting-edge sortation and transportation systems.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate efforts to develop optimal solutions and processes for the sortation and transportation network through material flow, process design, site layout, and intellectual property considerations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to generate high-quality, cost-effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage multiple projects and tasks, influencing, negotiating, and communicating with internal and external business partners, contractors, and vendors.
- Effectively communicate technical solutions and execute the vision, detailed roadmap, and specific technical solutions.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial engineering, operations engineering, manufacturing engineering, or project engineering in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL at the intermediate level.
- Experience working with and managing third-party vendors.
- Experience with Six Sigma, lean manufacturing.
