Senior Real Estate Law Clerk job seeks experienced professional to manage real estate files, draft documents, and work with a team of clerks and lawyers.

Our client, a full-service law firm in Downtown Toronto, is seeking a senior Law Clerk to join their busy Real Estate Group. In this role, you will be responsible for a wide variety of legal and administrative duties within the real estate sphere.

  • Manage and complete purchase and mortgage files from start to finish
  • Handle all forms of real estate files, including purchases, sales, mortgages, and refinancing
  • Drafting and coordinating necessary documents required for closing

To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant real estate experience at a law firm. Knowledge of acquisitions, dispositions, financings, project development, and condo and development work are an asset.

  • Real estate statutes and practices
  • Legal concepts and procedures
  • Transactional experience
  • Broad, but thorough knowledge of basic legal principles

Experience in Teraview and Conveyancer is a must. You should have exceptional written and communication skills, be organized and meticulous with follow-up and details, and be able to take initiative, prioritize, and multi-task.
