BASF SE is seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive business growth and maintain strong relationships with our strategic accounts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for planning, reviewing, and adapting our annual sales plan to meet business objectives, as well as providing market, price, and product information to contribute to the formulation of our marketing and sales plan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth and maintain strong relationships with strategic accounts.
  • Plan, review, and adapt our annual sales plan to meet business objectives.
  • Provide market, price, and product information to contribute to the formulation of our marketing and sales plan.
  • Represent the company and introduce relevant products and concepts to customers to build long-term partnerships and generate short-term sales.
  • Take care of money collection in line with our financial policy and payment terms to ensure sufficient cash flow.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5 years of sales experience.
  • Well-rounded knowledge of vegetable seed business.
  • Strong agronomic skills.
  • Advanced consultative selling skills, including negotiation and closing sales plans.
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit combined with the ability to influence decisions of people with different backgrounds and in various functions.
  • Project management skills.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor team members, providing positive and constructive feedback.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, exercise good judgment, and be organized.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
