Job Title: Grocery Associate

Join our team at Walmart Canada as a Grocery Associate and develop your skills in the retail industry. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional customer service, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and assist with stocking and sales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Zones the department to ensure a well-organized store environment.
  • Rotates stock and checks for expired products to maintain high-quality merchandise.
  • Ensures merchandise is properly signed and priced to meet customer needs.
  • Follows food safety and handling procedures, as well as sanitation and cleaning procedures, to maintain a clean and safe store environment.
  • Follows proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels to ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Ensures the department is fully stocked with merchandise and ready for business.
  • Follows Health and Safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Stocks merchandise, picks, and downstocks as needed, and applies product protection when required.
