Reports to: Director, Performance Services
Whitewater is hiring for a Project Manager, Performance Services to join its Performance Services team Reporting to the Director, Performance Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for active management of project teams within established schedules & budgets, typically from the time of sale, through design and engineering, procurement, installation, final inspection, certification, and settlement of final accounts. This position requires an energetic, self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and a drive for Customer Service Excellence.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Managing and overseeing multiple projects concurrently, focusing on Customer Service Excellence, on-time delivery, and the financial performance of projects while minimizing warranty claims through effective quality control, and maximizing margin through cost control and revenue enhancement.
- Managing and overseeing multiple Project Teams of cross functional inter-disciplinary stakeholders including sales, client representatives, and construction personnel to meet project goals.
- Some travel as appropriate and as required to maintain customer intimacy - to build relationships with internal and external customers into successful partnerships.
- Acting as the prime point of contact and liaison between the client and Whitewater and its partners.
- Preparing, analyzing, reviewing, approving, and managing the execution of project paperwork, including estimates, contracts, project schedules, budgets, invoices, applications for payment, change orders, cost reports, purchase orders, subcontractor bid documentation, shipping documentation, project close-out reports and other paperwork necessary to manage and document projects through their lifespan.
- Reviewing, coding and approving invoices from vendors.
- Managing the timely collection of revenue from clients.
- Updating the PM Supervisor, and at times, other senior managers, on project variances from established schedules and budgets on a timely basis.
- Developing a well-rounded knowledge of products and installation requirements.
- Setting up and maintaining all project records in a project binder and digitally where possible and applicable.
- Usage of Non-Compliance Reporting (NCR) / Opportunity for Improvement (OFI) procedures.
- Embrace and participate actively in Continuous Improvement and LEAN Office initiatives.
- Contributes to a culture of development/sustenance of Continuous Improvement and Lean philosophies.
- Ability to develop and maintain professional internal and external working relationships with all levels in the organization.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum educational requirement: Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in a similar position; construction or manufacturing industry experience considered an asset
- Hands on experience with MS Project and MS SharePoint considered an asset
- Experience with LEAN Office or LEAN Manufacturing considered an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
