Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Analytics Consultant to work out of our Glenmore, AB or Toronto, ON office, on a permanent full-time basis. The successful candidate will have a strong background in analytics, mathematics, and actuarial science, with a proven track record of developing and maintaining predictive analytics models.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize sustainable predictive analytics models to improve our broker and customer experience.
  • Work autonomously on challenging, strategic projects in areas such as customer profiling & segmentation, client retention & cross-sell, and more.
  • Drive change by improving work processes and making substantive observations, conclusions, and recommendations.
  • Analyze large volumes of data from multiple sources to identify business opportunities and find solutions to strategic challenges.
  • Support and collaborate with various internal stakeholders, including front-line managers, human resources, finance, and technology.
Requirements
  • University degree in mathematics, actuarial science, finance, or economics.
  • Certifications in mathematics, actuarial science, finance, or economics (ACAS or FCAS preferred).
  • 5+ years of actuarial experience (preferably in the P&C insurance sector).
  • Good knowledge of SAS, VBA, R, or Python.
  • Desirable competencies: adaptability, innovation, analytical thinking, decision-making, critical thinking, stellar communication, planning, and organizing, team orientation.
