ABOUT THE ROLE:
Health Standards Organization (HSO) is seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer to work closely with the Assistant Controller for precise and timely financial operations at HSO. Responsibilities include issuing invoices and statements, managing incoming payments, and contributing to a bright future for the organization and its clients. This role offers a stimulating challenge and an opportunity to be part of something greater.
The ideal candidate is ambitious, detail-oriented, and analytical, capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently in a rapidly expanding global environment. A diverse financial background and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential.
Main Responsibilities:
- Understanding the Accounts Receivable cycle and internal controls
- Collaborating with business units to meet customer invoicing requirements
- Verifying client accounts and related documentation
- Working closely with the HSO team for optimal results
- Contributing positively to the workplace culture
- Assisting with month-end close activities
Must Have Qualifications:
- University degree or College diploma in Accounting or Business
- 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience
- Ability to handle multiple priorities with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Business Central and Excel
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications:
- Industry knowledge in health care
- Experience with Project Accounting
- Organized, detail-oriented, and analytically curious
- Familiarity with Microsoft Business Central
- Bilingual in English and French
