Housekeeping Supervisor/Room Attendant Join Our Team at Crescent Hotels & Resorts

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Housekeeping Supervisor/Room Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our Housekeeping team, you will be responsible for providing supervision and direction for all housekeeping and laundry activities of the hotel to ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and guest satisfaction are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee associates of room attendants, house-persons, and inspectors by conducting daily and quarterly meetings, inspecting associates' work, and giving guidance to ensure deficiencies are corrected and standards are met.
  • Assist the Housekeeping Manager with interviewing, hiring, training, recommending performance evaluations, resolving problems, providing open communication, and recommending discipline when appropriate.
  • Arrange work schedules, determining days off, ensuring staffing levels are based on occupancy and/or any current or anticipated projects.
  • Maintain and review computerized records for budgeting and forecasting of department expenses as well as inspection scores for housekeepers.
  • Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear directions to the team.
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • A keen eye for detail and respect for the importance of impeccably clean guest room supplies
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with guests and colleagues
  • Knowledge of basic sanitation requirements/controls and applications of chemicals
  • Knowledge of policies applicable to housekeeping and laundry, especially those related to safety, guest security, and hotel property
  • Supervisory skills to manage housekeeping operations and effectively deal with associates
