Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at The Josie Hotel, Autograph Collection. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Housekeeping Staff: Lead and direct a team of housekeeping staff to ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
  • Inspect and Monitor Quality: Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure that they meet the hotel's high standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Manage Schedules and Staffing: Create and manage schedules for housekeeping staff to ensure that all areas of the hotel are adequately staffed.
  • Communicate with Guests and Staff: Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and communicate with housekeeping staff to ensure that all guest requests are met.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records of housekeeping operations, including cleaning schedules, guest complaints, and staff performance.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • Previous Housekeeping Experience: 2+ years of experience in a housekeeping role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of housekeeping staff.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to inspect and monitor quality to ensure that all guest rooms and public areas meet the hotel's high standards.
