Job Summary

The Physiotherapist will work across acute, medical-surgical, and rehab units, collaborating with an interprofessional team to provide high-quality patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and compassionate Physiotherapist to make a difference in the lives of our patients and communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide physiotherapy services to patients across acute, medical-surgical, and rehab units
  • Work collaboratively with an interprofessional team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide interventions to patients
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy (B.Sc.PT) or Master of Science in Physiotherapy (MSc PT)
  • Licensed with the College of Physiotherapy
  • Minimum of one year experience working in an acute hospital setting
  • Demonstrated experience working with acute, surgical, and rehab patients
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to interact effectively with a multi-disciplinary team
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with all team members
  • Physically able to manage a moderately heavy job
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Satisfactory attendance and employment record
