Key Responsibilities- Assess and treat patients with a range of conditions, including acute, surgical, and rehab patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote patient recovery and independence.
- Work closely with occupational therapists, OTA/PTA's, discharge planners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines to provide best-in-class care.
- Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy (B.Sc.PT) or Master of Science in Physiotherapy (MSc PT).
- Licensure with the College of Physiotherapy.
- Minimum one year of experience working in an acute hospital setting.
- Demonstrated experience working with acute, surgical, and rehab patients.
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to interact effectively with a multi-disciplinary team.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with all team members.
- Physical ability to manage a moderately heavy job.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
