About Boardwalk

Boardwalk is a leading provider of quality rental apartments and townhouses in Canada. We operate over 33,000 units across the country and are committed to providing our residents with a comfortable and secure living experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide a visible presence on site to ensure the health, comfort, and safety of our residents
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by opening doors, assisting with bags, and providing a warm welcome to our residents
  • Conduct regular site visits, patrol the exterior and interior of the property, and inspect all walkways, stairs, and common areas
  • Identify and report any maintenance issues, damage, or safety concerns to the maintenance team
  • Assist with replacing burnt-out lights, garbage pick-up, snow removal, and touch-up painting as needed
  • Complete daily reports and submit them to the leader
  • Respond to resident concerns, including lockouts, noise complaints, and on-call maintenance assistance
  • Complete other tasks assigned by the leader

Requirements:

  • 2 years of customer service and/or security experience
  • Security license required
  • Computer experience with web-based programs preferred
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to changing systems and new technology
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle required
  • Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service
  • Ability to take responsibility for all actions and decisions and to follow through until a resolution is obtained
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters
  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and assertiveness
  • Ability to spend up to eight hours walking, standing, climbing stairs, and lifting
