Meat Associate

We are seeking a skilled Meat Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a Meat Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining the meat department, and assisting with stocking and sales.
Key Responsibilities- Zones the department to ensure a clean and organized shopping environment.
- Rotates stock and checks for expired products to maintain high-quality merchandise.
- Ensures merchandise is properly signed and priced to meet customer expectations.
- Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
- Takes orders for Deli Department merchandise, slices and prepares merchandise, and provides requested assistance.
- Follows proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
- Prepares deli food orders, meat, cheese, and utilizes slicers, stackers, and other utensils to prepare chicken and fill prepared salads and side dishes.
- Follows Health and Safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $16.05. Rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
