Key Responsibilities:
  • Zones the department to ensure a clean and organized environment
  • Rotates stock and checks for expired products to maintain high-quality merchandise
  • Ensures merchandise is properly signed and priced to meet customer expectations
  • Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, food handling, and product rotation
  • Takes orders for Deli Department merchandise and prepares items such as meat, cheese, and fried chicken
  • Follows proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, and signing/flagging/pricing/labels
  • Prepares deli food orders, meat, cheese, and other items using slicers, stackers, and other utensils
  • Follows Health and Safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements:

We are looking for individuals who possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
