Seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse with expertise in primary care, community development, and health promotion to join our team at Wilkie Health Centre.

Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Advanced Practice Nurse to provide high-quality patient care, conduct community needs assessments, and support inter-professional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical assessment and treatment strategies for patients with common acute illnesses and stable chronic conditions.
  • Develop and deliver formal education programs to promote health and wellness.
  • Work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to achieve patient-centered care.
  • Conduct community needs assessments and support inter-professional collaboration to improve patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Three years of full-time experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • One year of experience in community development and health promotion activities.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support Level C Certificate (BCLS).
  • Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner Specialization.
  • Master of Nurse Practitioner degree (acceptable).

Additional Information:

  • May be eligible for additional incentives.
  • Wilkie is located approximately 56 km south of North Battleford.
  • Travel within the region and provincially.
  • One year of nursing experience in a primary health care setting preferred.
  • Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS).
