Position Overview

Reporting to the General Manager, International, the Canadian Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing annual Canadian brand plans in close cooperation with all internal stakeholders for our inline product, the Oncotype DX Breast Recurrence Score Test, as well as future pipeline products. The Marketing Manager will work with the Canadian commercial team to define, develop, and execute the marketing plan in Canada; including projects associated with promoting and educating clinician customers and patients, defining product positioning, assessing national and regional market potential, and developing promotional material and messaging.

The candidate will be responsible for working closely with cross functional colleagues based in Zug, Switzerland including International Marketing, Medical, Legal, Biostatistics, Market Access and Corporate Communications to execute the brand strategy and related tactics to drive the Canadian business.

This position is remote work based and located in Canada.

Essential Duties

include but are not limited to the following:
  • Develop a detailed marketing plan to position our products in a competitive market.
  • Initiate and develop tools and programs focused on a variety of clinical and non-clinical audiences (i.e., oncologists, surgeons, pathologists, and patients.).
  • Support and organize aspects of speaker, advisory boards and peer-to-peer education programs, including faculty selection, recruitment, agenda development, logistical coordination, and regulatory and compliance review.
  • Work with Digital Marketing to execute digital marketing campaigns and leverage omni channel marketing.
  • Liaise with various outside groups, including current or prospective service vendors, such as Advertising, Medical Education, and PR agencies.
  • Collaborate with internal parties, especially the Canadian commercial team, international marketing team, and medical affairs director, on a wide range of projects.
  • Handle questions and requests related to marketing programs and functions and keep current on all technical and clinical data associated with the assay.
  • Maintain a pulse on the future of genomic cancer diagnostics and healthcare trends.
  • Attend outside meetings and prepare reports to convey scientific or competitive information that may affect Exact Sciences' market, as needed.
  • Assist in coordinating regulatory and legal review of new or revised materials in a timely fashion.
  • Manage spend and budgets as per annual plans, working closely with the country business lead.
  • Excellent teamwork and interaction skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams and interface effectively with internal partners to include Sales, Medical Affairs/Communications, Market Access, Communications, Executives, and outside agencies and vendors.

Required
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 5+ years working in Healthcare Industry; experience in Oncology is preferred.
  • Solid experience in marketing (and sales) roles with strong track record of success.
  • Excellent communicator with proven oral and written communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a willingness to take the initiative.
  • Ability to independently deliver quality results in a timely manner.
  • Proven analytical skills and comfortable working with scientific data.
  • Excellent listener who is intellectually curious and is comfortable working with ambiguity.
  • Competent computer skills with proficiency in all Microsoft applications
  • Has a sense of urgency and is committed to delivering on time results.

Exigences

- Baccalauréat.
