We are seeking a dedicated professional to play a vital role in carrying out our mandate as a Senior Securities Analyst in the Securities Division.

The Senior Securities Analyst role has two main purposes:

  • Providing subject matter expertise in conducting in-depth reviews and analyses of prospectus and continuous disclosure documents filed by New Brunswick reporting issuers to ensure full, true and plain disclosure.
  • Acting as an accounting resource for the Division and the Commission through the review of financial-related documents and budgeting activities.

This position reports to the Manager, Corporate Finance in the Securities Division.

Key qualifications include:

  • Completion of a university degree;
  • CPA designation;
  • 7+ years relevant post-designation work experience;
  • In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Auditing Standards;
  • Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards;
  • Working knowledge of securities legislation;
  • Experience using Tableau;
  • Bilingualism (English and French);
  • Highly analytical;
  • Sound judgment while exercising tact and discretion.

The Financial and Consumer Services Commission offers a competitive salary and benefit package as well as excellent opportunities for personal growth and challenge.

Salary Range: $101,276 to $139,255 (Annual Compensation)
